Safe And Reliable Transportation
Whether it’s getting to work, dropping your kids off at school, or picking up groceries, driving on our local roads is rough to say the least. Our public transportation is not reliable; lines often only run once an hour and not every line is accessible to each corner of our district. Getting from Point A to Point B shouldn’t be hard. It shouldn’t result in paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars in car repairs. Not only do we need to fix our crumbling local roads but also expand our public transportation.
Partner with local municipalities and Ingham County to repair, maintain and expand our local roads and sidewalks, boosting connectivity and economic growth for small businesses.
Collaborate with CATA to establish at least one free, central bus route for reliable transportation options for all residents.
Build bus shelters at every stop to protect riders from Michigan's unpredictable weather, ensuring safety and comfort year-round.
